The Action for Civic Transformation (ACT) is a 6-month fellowship designed to empower young people to become leaders in the field of education and civic engagement. The program combines experiential learning, hands-on activities, and expert instruction, providing young individuals with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to make a positive impact in their communities. The fellowship is aimed at university undergraduates and fresh graduates who are interested in civic engagement and education and will cover various important aspects of the fields including leadership, community engagement, action planning, evaluation and impact, professional development, project management, and practice. One of the main end goals of the program is to implement the participants’ projects and initiatives, which will be presented to the community and stakeholders. The ACT® Fellowship also includes a follow-up phase to provide support and resources to participants as they continue their professional development and stay connected to the EduRise community.
