EduRise® is a youth nonprofit organization that believes in education and aims to raise and advance its role & integrate it into long-term development projects in the LDCs (Least developed countries).
EduRise ® strategy is aligned with the UN SDGs;
EduRise® is a non-profit organization that promotes quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all, with a focus on the Least Developed Countries. By aligning its strategy with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 5 (Gender Equality), EduRise® is able to make a significant contribution to global efforts to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure peace and prosperity for all. Additionally, EduRise® works to address other SDGs such as SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities)
Wars & conflicts have greatly affected many vital sectors, including education, which today suffers from various problems and crises, including direct targeting by the warring parties, not to mention the recruitment of children & the spread of extremist ideology.
Corruption is one of the major obstacles in the way of education; it hampers all development efforts and its goals and it may lead to the collapse of the reputation of the education systems in an entire country.
Poverty is a major threat to stability and also represents a major source of individuals' insecurity; its harmful impact is directly reflected on the conditions of education in different societies, leading to a decline in the dissemination of education, especially among girls.
The family/ community background, cultural, language, traditions and religious differences in society are also factors that might hinder progress towards sustainable development goals, including education.
We firmly believe that education has a significant role in unlocking all the SDGs and achieving the prosperity of people and societies and reaping long-lasting development benefits. Thus, we, at EduRise, are working on five major pillars to participate in changing lives through education.
